How Pirots 5 Breaks Reality
Pirots 5 is ELK Studios' most ambitious slot to date. Four chrono birds navigate through a fracturing universe, collecting colour-matched crystals that evolve through ten levels. As birds move horizontally and vertically across the grid, they leave trails of collected symbols that cascade into new winning combinations.
The Temporal Energy Meter fills with each crystal, wild, and feature symbol collected. When maxed out, it awards Temporal Charges that can drop feature symbols, boss fragments, portal shards, or evolution fragments onto the grid. These charges can activate individually or simultaneously, creating chain reactions that fundamentally alter the game state.
Crystal Evolution and Value Progression
Each of the four crystal colours evolves through ten levels with escalating values. Red crystals provide the highest payouts, reaching 100.00x your bet at level 10. Purple crystals pay 75% of red values, green crystals pay 50%, and blue crystals pay 35%. Ancient Wild symbols dynamically copy the highest crystal level currently active on the grid, making them incredibly powerful during deep evolution runs.
Upgrade feature symbols increase crystal levels by +1, +2, +3, or +5 steps, while Upgrade All symbols boost every colour simultaneously. This creates strategic depth as you balance collecting high-value red crystals against diversifying your collection to trigger bird evolution paths.

Bird Evolution System
Birds begin in Base Form with standard horizontal and vertical movement. Collecting Evolution Fragments advances them through three stages. At Stage II (10 fragments), birds gain longer collection chains and improved pathfinding. At Stage III (25 fragments), each bird unlocks a unique permanent ability and gains diagonal movement, portal travel, and quantum jumps.
When three birds position adjacent to each other, they trigger Power Clash Evolution, destroying all symbols in a 7×7 area. If all four birds become adjacent, Mega Clash activates with a field-wide shockwave that automatically collects all feature symbols. These mechanics reward strategic positioning and create explosive combo potential.
Boss Battles and Reality Collapse
Collecting five Boss Fragments summons one of four cosmic bosses to the centre of the field. The Devourer consumes symbols every cascade. Queen Singularity creates black holes. The Lost Captain steals collected values. Chronos Kraken manipulates time mechanics. Defeat bosses by collecting crystals to damage them, earning instant payouts, multipliers, and feature explosions.
In the Omega Rift, Reality Collapse events can trigger, absorbing the entire field and reconstructing it while re-triggering all active features. This can chain into boss battles, bonuses, black holes, and Alien Armada simultaneously, creating the game's most explosive win potential.
Bonus Games: Rift Spins and Eternal Rift
Landing three Bonus Skulls triggers Rift Spins with seven initial spins. All crystal levels, bird evolution stages, rift progression, and temporal charges carry over from the base game. Each additional Bonus Skull collected during the feature awards +2 spins.
The Super Bonus Skull activates Eternal Rift Bonus, immediately expanding to an 11×11 grid with all birds at Stage III evolution. Boss and evolution fragments appear at double frequency, dramatically increasing the likelihood of triggering multiple boss battles and Reality Collapse events within a single bonus round.
Advanced Features: Portals and Lost Beyond Space
From Gamma Rift onwards, Temporal Portals appear on the grid. Up to eight portals can exist simultaneously, offering birds teleportation, multipliers, evolution fragments, and crystal upgrades. Birds can use Quantum Switcheroo to exchange positions through portals or Dimensional Switcheroo to teleport directly to the highest value symbol on the grid.
The ultimate challenge is Lost Beyond Space, activated by collecting all symbols while Spacecorn bridges exist. This special game mode starts on an 11×11 grid with five energy units. Birds consume energy as they move, restored by collecting Time Batteries, traversing bridges, or collecting coins. Memory Orbs duplicate collected values, while Reality Anchors prevent timeline collapse, extending the feature until all energy depletes.
