How the CollectR™ System Actually Works
Forget paylines. Pirots 4 operates on adjacent collection. When you hit spin, symbols drop from above onto the 6×6 grid. Four birds—each paired with a gem colour—scan for adjacent matches. A bird moves to any horizontally or vertically adjacent gem of its colour or any feature symbol, collecting it instantly.
After collection, symbols drop vertically to fill gaps, new symbols cascade in, and birds continue if adjacent collectables exist. This chain reaction continues until no bird can move. Only then do corner bombs detonate, pending features release, or special mechanics like Switcheroo trigger.
Collection Metre Strategy: Gems and Wild symbols collected by any bird fill the metre above the grid. When full, one pending feature symbol release is added (max three pending). These releases convert random gems into rockets, Black Holes, upgrades, or transform symbols—timed perfectly to reignite stalled collection chains.
The Inferno Coin Game Breakthrough
This is Pirots 4's hidden jackpot mode. It only triggers when Spacecorn fills the grid and birds collect every single symbol. The screen shifts to a 9×9 grid with one bird in each corner, four Fire Minions, and a "Don't Press" button dead centre. You get 3 drops—landing any coin, bird, or Minion resets the counter to 3.
Birds collect adjacent coins instantly (values stack in the total win counter). If a bird reaches the button through coin collection, the Charlie feature ignites—every visible bird catches fire, sprinting across the grid and marking positions with mystery fire levels 1–4. Higher levels reveal higher coin multipliers. When drops run out, there's a random chance Charlie retriggers for another fire marathon cycle.
Power Clash Physics
When three or more birds end up horizontally or vertically adjacent with no moves left, they trigger a Power Clash. The birds collide at one position, obliterating all gems in a 5×5 area from the clash point. Then they blast outward horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Any corner bombs, rockets, Black Holes, coins, or bonus symbols in their flight path are auto-collected or activated. Gems in the path vanish but don't count toward the collection metre—this is pure destructive momentum.

Each tunnel hides up to two feature symbols, auto-collected as the bird passes through. At maximum grid expansion (8×8) with all four corner sections removed, space portals activate. Birds can teleport between any two portals if collectables sit on top of multiple portal positions—letting a single bird chain across the entire grid instantly.
